Salamander Sea

Set sail into the Salamander Sea,
But do you see me?
I endure the fire,
And I'm almost to the wire.
But where is the light,
In this dark night?

You gotta spark a light into this empowering sunset flight.
The sea will try to sink your sunshine.
But not this time.

I saw the hurt,
and I saw the pain,
But what did I gain?
The sunshine shines,
And gives me strength.
But the length is too far,
So far...

Hope in tonight,
and take flight into the sunset's might.
Nothing's too far to fly to.
You gotta believe in the sea.
The Salamander Sea.

New Lit Torch

New Lit Torch


It's midnight...
With a midnight waterfall on the wall of your porch and newly lit torch.
It seems it could almost scorch the newly lit torch,
But fire can never tire.
It grows,
High and low.
To make the perfect glow...

Its color flutter in the midnight air,
And sends a flare to all who care that you're there.
It seems to stare wherever it seems fair enough to care,
But it doesn't seem to care about where I bare in the midnight air.
